Jewish Community of UCSF

Welcome to the jewish community of ucsf

At UCSF, the Jewish student community, led by Rabbi Yisroel and Hadas Zaetz, aims to create a sense of belonging and community for Jewish students and faculty. We offer a variety of social, educational and spiritual programs, for Jews of all backgrounds. While in college, students are exposed to new ideas and experiences and Chabad seeks to ensure that students graduate as stronger and more empowered Jews than when they entered.

The Chabad on Campus in SF also services Jewish students from various schools in the city- SFSU, Hastings School of Law, USF, University of the Pacific, and City College SF.

Torah classes

Join our weekly Torah classes for women, as we explore Soul Maps: Kabbalah to Navigate Your Inner World
Soul Maps provides a distilled overview of the Tanya, a 200-year-old text with a revolutionary look at the human psyche. We will study the source of guilt, conflict, and confusion, and find useful strategies for developing joy, purpose, and direction in everyday life.

In memory of Rebbetzin Rashi Minkowitz.
